Hair Poll (as opposed to a straw poll)The presidential elections are coming up in just a short 13 1/2 months, so Elizabeth, my personal six-year-old photographer, and I have conspired to bring you this pre-election poll. I have had the same haircut for about 15 years now, a good old standby. Every time I get my hair trimmed, my friend Jaylin at Bubbles straightens my hair afterward for fun. Here is the pressing question that begs responses......Should I buy a hair iron for occasional use, or as my dear, loving husband of twelve years says, "It's just too wierd. You look like you have a wig on."

I voted no. I do think the straightened style looks nice on you, but I love your curly hair!
I just showered and all is right with the world again - the curls have returned with a vengeance.
I loved your skullotomy picture. Matt and I were laughing so hard, the kids came to see what the ruckus was all about.
Glad you enjoyed it the pic. Terry took it for me with my Palm Pilot camera. I think our eldest child was a bit embarrassed at the time!
Oh, Mandy, I like it! I've always wanted to see what your hair looked like straight and my suspicions were correct: it's really pretty. So, I voted yes. Matthew could get used to it. ;-)
